Your First Step toward The University of North Carolina

Planning to go to college?  If you’re a North Carolina high school junior or senior, you may start earning college credits right now . . . at your high school . . . during regular class hours . . . 100% online . . . for free . . . textbooks included.

This is not too good to be true. It’s a state-sponsored and -funded program that helps hard-working high school students

  • jump start a university career (you could leave high school with enough credits to qualify as a college junior),
  • gain a real-world, real-time understanding of the college experience, and
  • save a lot of money.

These are not advanced placement (AP) courses but rather the same college courses taken—and paid for—by campus-based, first-year students.

Currently, you may enroll in courses presented by either UNC Greensboro's iSchool or one of the state's community colleges

Talk to your parents, visit your guidance counselor, and begin your journey to UNC today.
